R&D: Testing
Scope
Endurance tests
SEITZ is able to perform endurance tests with gas pressure of up to 1200 bars.
Pressure tests
Housings are tested for strength hydraulically using bursting tests at up to 2500 bars.
Sealing
Hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, natural gas and various other gases cause different leakage rates. SEITZ has the knowledge and tools to measure these leakage rates with precision within the 1 to 1050 bars range.
National Instruments LabVIEW
In order to be able to perform challenging testing processes reproducibly and as quickly as possible, SEITZ uses recorded readings from National Instruments with LAB VIEW programming.
Test bench development
SEITZ valves are 100% function-tested on test benches that have been developed in-house. The service team is responsible for guaranteeing test quality from start-up to equipment inspection.
Service
Service worldwide
SEITZ has a service team that can be deployed internationally. Nowhere is too far away to provide the best possible support for a customer.
Customer reports
Customer reports are taken very seriously at SEITZ and are processed with the greatest care. The service team is responsible for analysing apparent damage and repairing faults.
Repairs
The SEITZ repair service sets benchmarks; industrial valves are still repaired 15 years after delivery. With special products such as valves for nuclear power stations, these services can be extended in any way necessary, which is why 40-year-old valve blocks are regularly maintained at SEITZ.
